The Records endpoints list the patient’s consultation orders and manage the health documents they share with the medical team, such as outside prescriptions and lab results. An order is a consultation the patient has paid for or that a plan covers, not a medicine purchase. Hi Doctor does not sell, stock or ship medicine. Last reviewed: 2026-11-04

  • A patient bearer token and X-Brand-Slug: hi-doctor.
  • Only the patient can upload or delete their documents.

Boundaries and side effects

  • Orders and documents return a bare JSON array, not a paginated envelope.
  • Documents are PDF, PNG, JPEG or WebP (detected from the bytes), up to 20 MiB, with at most 50 per patient. kind is prescription, lab_result, photo or other (default); note is up to 500 characters.
  • Uploading and deleting accept an Idempotency-Key. Without one, a retried upload can store a duplicate.
  • Deleting a document cannot be undone.
  • Never log document bytes.
