Insulin resistance usually improves with targeted weight loss and habit
changes. A doctor's role in an online consultation is to assess whether
adding a medicine would speed that process up — not to replace the habit
changes themselves.

## Treatments a doctor considers

A licensed doctor decides case by case and never prescribes without
evaluation:

  **Rybelsus (oral semaglutide)** — a once-daily semaglutide tablet authorised
  for type 2 diabetes. Any use in weight management is an individual medical
  decision and may be off-label.

## Your path to treatment
