# Treatment areas

> What Hi-Doctor treats, and how each pathway works.

Hi-Doctor offers consultations in three areas. Each has its own questionnaire,
its own clinical checks, and its own eligibility rules.

## Weight loss

The questionnaire covers your height and weight, medical history, current
medication and previous weight-loss treatment. Body mass index is calculated
from your answers and is part of the eligibility decision — treatment is not
offered below the clinical threshold.

Additional questions appear depending on your answers: for example, if your BMI
falls in a particular band you are asked about related conditions, and if you
have taken a weight-loss medication before you are asked which one and at what
dose.

Available as a **one-off consultation** or an **ongoing plan** with progress
tracking.

## Hair growth

Covers the pattern and history of hair loss, scalp condition, allergies and
medical history. Some questions are shown only where relevant — for example
pregnancy-related questions are asked only of female patients.

## Sexual health

Covers symptoms, cardiovascular history, current medication and allergies.
Certain answers rule treatment out entirely — for example nitrate medication,
which interacts dangerously with some treatments.

## What decides the outcome

Two things, in order:

1. **Eligibility checks on submission.** Contraindicated history, interacting
   medication, an out-of-range BMI, being under 18, or an unsupported country
   stop the questionnaire at submission.
2. **The doctor's review.** A registered doctor then reads the case and decides
   whether to prescribe, to prescribe something different, to ask a question,
   or to decline.
